My name is Tori Wells, and I am currently a fifth grade student at Ambassadors Preparatory Academy in Galveston. I have been honored to be selected as one of the students from my school, to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
My classmates and I will be traveling to Washington, D.C., and New York during spring break, March 2012. The trip is being organized and coordinated by the Smithsonian Student Travel.
While there, I will get to experience firsthand, history and culture in places I have only read about and watched on TV. It will be a very exciting time in my life for me to finally explore the White House, Capitol Hill, Times Square, Central Park and the many monuments and museums. Oh, not to mention, attend my first Broadway show in New York. This opportunity will definitely make a little girl’s dream a real life experience.
I am calling upon my community for financial support to guarantee my attendance. The total cost of the trip is $1,339 per student.
Please make check/money orders payable to “Ambassadors Preparatory Academy” and write my name, Tori Wells and “field trip” in the memo section. Your contribution will be tax deductible. You can contact my mother, Christina Ross, 409-789-0624 and/or my principal, Pat Williams, 409-762-115. I thank you in advance for your generosity.
